Why you should read businessThink
This is a good and useful book, a bit flippant, shallow and superficial, but packed with practical principles and self-tests. It manages to debunk some of the most deleterious notions and practices in contemporary business - the idea that you need to move fast, for example, and the notion that business leaders ought to be confident, aggressive and ambitious. The authors rightly point out the merits of the classic monastic virtues of patience and humility. In fact, everything that this book says could be summed up in the child’s traffic safety slogan, "Stop, Look, Listen." getAbstract.com applauds its common sense, a deceptively simple necessity all too often ignored in business.
