Their approach begins with fostering self-awareness and then uses this awareness to motivate change that the organization needs. While this book provides a fairly well-organized and well-written introduction to the concept, it covers familiar training and development ground. About the Authors
David L. Dotlich is a former executive vice president of Honeywell and Groupe Bull, and a founding partner in CDR International. As an executive coach, his clients include Johnson & Johnson, Bank of America, Merck, Arthur Andersen, Sprint, and others. He teaches executive education programs at the Universities of Michigan and Minnesota, and is coauthor of Action Learning. Peter C. Cairo, the former co-chair of Columbia University’s Department of Organizational and Counseling Psychology, is a founding partner in CDR International. His clients have included AT&T, BellSouth, Colgate, and Merck.
