How do you guarantee quality?

Can I buy a single summary?
Due to legal agreements with our publishing partners, we are not permitted to sell single summaries. We offer free sample summaries on our website, which you can download at your leisure.
If I like the summary, how can I buy the book?
getAbstract is not a book retailer. If you are interested in buying a copy of a book we have summarized, click on the link provided at the bottom of the page. A pop-up window will appear and direct you to an online store where you can purchase the book.
Will the service work on my mobile?

How many summaries can I download?
Our Business Gold Subscription lets you view an unlimited number of summaries online or on your mobile device app. You can also save or print a maximum of 100 summaries within any given 30-day period. During the last 30 days of your subscription, that monthly limit stands, but a further restriction of 20 downloads per day applies. Our Silver Subscription gives you access to four summaries of your choice. We will automatically send you 26 summaries throughout the year – one every other week. How soon will I get the summary?
You will have access to the summary you've selected immediately after choosing your desired download format.
Does getAbstract offer RSS Feeds? How can I avail of them?
Yes! Our "Best of..." RSS Feeds alert you to the latest and greatest business book summaries the minute they are available online. getAbstract is the only summary provider with this service. We offer the following Feeds:

Are the summaries protected by copyright?
Yes, they are protected under U.S. and international copyright law. As a customer, you are entitled to make one copy for your personal use. However, we realize that our summaries are so valuable that you may wish to give additional copies to your friends. While we do not condone this, we know we cannot completely control it either. Please encourage your friends to purchase their own subscriptions. After all, they should receive the same benefits and pleasure that you do from your Personalized Summary Service.
Does getAbstract provide a money-back guarantee?
You can cancel your subscription and receive a full refund within the first thirty (30) days provided you have not downloaded more than seven (7) summaries for a Gold Subscription and no more than two (2) summaries for a Silver Subscription.
How long does it take for my Frequent Flyer Miles to appear on my account?
It may take up to 30 days for the points from our airline partners, Lufthansa and Delta Airline, to be credited to your account. If it takes longer, please contact the airline directly, use the support page.
Why do I not receive my summaries?
Have you checked your spam filter or junk mailbox? You can also try to switch the delivery format from html to plain text, as plain-text emails usually pass safely through the spam filter. Ask your IT department whether they have set up restrictions on incoming emails from outside the United States, as our product originates in Switzerland. They can alter the system settings to grant our emails access to your in-box.
How do I make changes to my Personal Profile?
Log in to your account. Click on "My Account" on the top right-hand corner. Click on "change my profile" and choose from our array of topics.
Can I change my email address and password?
Yes. Log in to your account. Click on "My Account" and scroll down to "Email address and password". Enter your new email address and click "Save". To change your password, follow the same steps.
