Why you should read Beyond Basketball
If outlining winning plays and recruiting talented players was all that mattered, Mike Krzyzewski would have plenty of company at the top of college basketball. But there’s a reason why “Coach K” stands alone, with his three NCAA championships at Duke University and a dozen National Coach of the Year awards: Like other great leaders in sports and business, he is a master motivator. His players believe in him and trust him. In this pep talk, he focuses on keywords that evoke life lessons. Although basketball is front and center, this is more of a motivational book than a sports book. getAbstract believes that anyone who wants an inspirational boost should play along.
