What is an RSS feed?

An RSS feed automatically informs you when we upload a new summary that fits your interest profile. If you have already subscribed to a particular feed, all you need to do is click on the button on your browser or e-mail program and you'll see all of getAbstract's new releases. This way you can stay up-to-date without visiting the Web site each time.

What does RSS even stand for?

To be honest, nobody is entirely sure. In fact, it's the subject of much discussion right now. The current favorite is "Really Simple Syndication."

How do I sign-up for an RSS feed?

First of all you need a "news reader". There are plenty of these: Some work in your browser, some are downloaded as separate applications. On the right you'll find a few links to some popular news readers. They're generally very easy to install.
Next, you need to choose which feed(s) interest you. Would you prefer to find out about the newest summaries? Perhaps just summaries of finance books? Or how about the latest marketing titles? Simply click on the orange RSS button beside your chosen topic and select "Subscribe Now" from your news reader. By the way: This orange button is the universal symbol for RSS feeds — it appears on every Web site that has them.

Where do I see what's new?

When the page is refreshed, your news reader automatically alerts you to this. With Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer, one click on the RSS button is usually sufficient to check on updated content.

Can I show getAbstract's new releases on my own Web site?
