Rolf Dobelli is the chairman and co-founder of getAbstract. Formerly, Rolf served as president and CEO of Nuance Global Ships, an $80 million subsidiary of Swissair with 450 employees based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Prior to that, from 1997 to 1998, he was CEO of Nuance-Watson (HK), Ltd., a joint venture between Swissair and the Chinese owned Hutchinson-Whampoa communications giant, based in Hong Kong. From 1995 to 1996, he held the position of CFO of Nuance Australia in Sydney, a 100 percent subsidiary of Swissair with sales exceeding $100 million. Rolf received his Masters (1991) and his Ph.D. (1995) from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Rolf has a weekly show on Bloomberg TV Germany, a weekly show on FAZ Radio (Germany) and has appeared on CNN, n-tv, N24 and Tele 24. He has been quoted in Wall Street Journal, Business 2.0, Financial Times, WirtschaftsWoche, Facts, Cash, Handelszeitung and many other U.S. and European business magazines.
He is also a best-selling German fiction writer.
