Thomas Bergen, Co-Founder and CEO

Thomas Bergen got his business and economics degree from the University of St. Gallen. He was vice president of Migrosbank, the fifth largest bank in Switzerland, where he began his career in 1993. In 1999, Thomas co-founded getAbstract, a book summary company that provides high-end business knowledge to managers around the world. Around the same time, he started lecturing on enterpreneuership at the University of St.Gallen. In 2005, Thomas and Patrick moved to the States to ramp up getAbstract’s US sales and to expand its business into the Americas. After a successful launch, Thomas returned to Switzerland in 2010 to run the global business of getAbstract from the Lucerne headquarters. From 2003 until 2011, he served as a member of the board of the Swiss Management Association, which he presided for the past two years. He is also a member of the foundation council of the famous monastery in Einsiedeln.
