The COVID-19 pandemic has elevated the strategic role of organizational learning and development. What may sound like good news for L&D professionals at first glance, however, also presents new challenges. To address them, organizations must ramp up reskilling, upskilling and soft skills training to promote inclusion and employee well-being. The 2022 LinkedIn Workplace Learning Report offers actionable insights into each of these themes for L&D professionals at all levels.

Organizations undergoing rapid workplace transformations currently find themselves in a “Great Reshuffle.” The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated digital transformation and widened the skills gap, which has elevated the role and importance of organizational learning. L&D is becoming increasingly tied into a more holistic HR function.
