Wealth manager Nick Maggiulli takes an unusual yet eminently logical approach to personal finance guidance: People residing at different levels of wealth have different concerns and opportunities, and need tailored advice.

Maggiulli speaks from experience. Growing up amid financial instability — his working-class parents declared bankruptcy more than once —, he ascended the wealth scale thanks to a Stanford education and a career in litigation consulting. He later transitioned into wealth management — now serving as chief operating officer and data scientist at Ritholtz Wealth Management — and financial writing. He’s known as the author of the bestseller Just Keep Buying, in which he recommends building wealth through regular investments in income-producing assets, regardless of market conditions.
