你可能并不认为自己是个销售人员,实际上你就是,当你试图说服别人接受你的观点,你就是在推销自己。人们除了把自己的观点、希望、所想、所需推销给周围的人之外,别无他法,推销是所有“人际互动”的核心。最后,你的推销是否成功取决于人们对你的看法,而不是对你所推销的信息、你的意图、或其他方面的看法。

到底有哪些因素影响了他人对你所传达信息的解读呢?人们通过五种感官接收外界信息:视觉、听觉、嗅觉、触觉以及味觉。从某种程度上说,你可以通过观众的感官控制他们,即选择特定的着装、确保自己体味宜人、让自己的声音柔和等方式。不过,人们接收到外部信息以后,还会通过以下五种相应的知觉对其进行过滤。根据“神经语言程序学”(neuro-linguistic programming)理论,它们分别是:

  1. “原始程序”——人们大脑的工作方式。
  2. “信仰系统”——人们对这个世界的个人观点。
