人们往往注重自身,但这会干扰与他人的沟通。为了让人理解、欣赏和赞同你的想法,必须从听众角度考虑。这意味着关注你的听众和读者,而不是你自己。无论是任何目的、形式和媒介,这都是一切沟通的第一要则。你的内容只有得到听众的认可才会变得重要。如果你专注于他人,你将成为一个强大的沟通者。若不能,你将永远做不到。

内容熟稔于心

作为商界人士,你必须针对相应听众传达特定的信息,无论听众是你的老板、雇员、股东亦或他人。要清楚你想传达的要点——核心内容。清晰简洁地表达核心思想。这一建议的前提是你已充分理解自己的信息。很多演讲者并没有想清楚自己到底要传达什么。让信息简洁明了。避免行话。

如何去说

讲故事是沟通的好方法。每个故事都需要“开始、中间和结束”。分享故事时,尽量不要讲得像背稿子。早点明确故事的开头和结尾怎么去讲。记住开始和结束时要说的话。如果觉得不自然就不要想着去搞笑。如果无法用引人入胜的方式讲故事,就不要去尝试。 相反,用类比或比喻来表达你的要点。例如,在培训过程中,一位通信从业者需要说服公司高管接受媒体采访。高管因为顾虑可能的“风险”而不太愿意。她并不擅长讲故事,于是用比喻来佐证自己的观点。她建议高管们可以把自己想象成棒球比赛中的终结者(救援投手)。终结者可能会让比赛面临险境,但是如果不这样去试试,球队就会输掉比赛。
