婚姻破裂、孩子生病、无力还贷、工资欠发......每天,员工都要面对来自生活与工作的各种危机。根据非营利性机构“悲痛康复研究所”的估算,美国企业每年因员工“效率降低、失误增多、事故频发”造成的隐性损失高达750亿美元。为更好地管理危机、减少损失,可采用以下四个步骤:

1. “遇事不慌”

“遇事不慌”就是说要保持冷静,采取行动解决问题。制订一个危机处理计划才能掌握主动。应对危机其实有点像侦探破案,要收集信息、分析事实、以局外人的眼光判断当下的情况。想到有什么问题,就拿笔写下来,不要回避。其实,回答问题的过程也是对当前情况进行分析的过程。问问自己:要解决的是什么危机?希望达到怎样的效果?怎么发现问题?自己怎么看待当前的情况?现在对问题了解多少?还有哪些情况需要进一步挖掘?哪些人能帮你?最坏的情况是什么?怎么应对这场危机?

再具体分析一下,有哪些方面的情况是自己能够掌握、可以控制的?有哪几个问题特别棘手?你的短期目标是什么,而长期目标又是什么?很多危机早期并不明显,但一旦爆发,后果相当严重。因此,有必要问问自己:对当前的状况了解多少,还有哪些情况掌握不够。在尝试解决问题前,自己首先要对问题有全面的认识。

吉姆·摩尔海德(Jim Moorhead)曾在州选举中失利,后来他任职的光纤企业在互联网泡沫崩溃时也不幸倒闭。现在,他主要为商务人士以及竞选的政界代表就个人与职业中的危机管理提供培训,并在各大电视台担任危机管理栏目的评论嘉宾。
