找工作不要追求完美匹配,能发挥特长更重要。

寻找新工作或转行确实让人感到压力山大。大家都希望找到一份既能发挥自己特长又能实现职业抱负的工作。找工作时,不要误以为招聘方会放宽某些基本要求。如果你没有法律学位,就不要尝试应聘律师。每个职业都有最基本的门槛。达到门槛后,只要具备符合职位要求的其他能力,并且准备充分,就有机会获得面试或录用。

看到一则不错的招聘广告,但自己的技能与招聘要求不完全匹配,这个时候请不要轻易放弃。如果你符合至少70%的要求,那就有机会。为了吸引雇主,你可以调整简历和求职信,强调自己为何适合这个职位。例如,即使你没有正式担任过项目经理,但可以列举管理过的项目。修改简历中的关键词,以匹配招聘广告上的要求,比如把“负责维护客户关系”改成“具备客户服务技能和经验”。

如果可能,可以在招聘公司内部找一个人来为你的专业能力背书。想办法认识掌握信息或资源的内部人士,与其进行一次简短、非正式的面谈,这是接触行业、与目标公司建立联系的好方法。如果你不符合职位要求中的基本条件,但仍想应聘类似的工作,可以考虑曲线救国,比如先从初级岗位做起积累相关经验,或者回到学校进修。
