2020年,罕见的在线协作突然变得稀松平常。

其实在新冠疫情暴发以前,已经有很多公司都接受了灵活的工作模式。在一些人才稀缺的领域,特别是需要多样型人才的领域,采用远程模式才能招到更多人。通过Zoom、Teams 在线协作等工具,企业得以跳出本地市场,充分调动全球的专业资源,另外,员工居家办公还能给公司省下不少开销。

疫情迫使许多公司把工作搬到线上,未来会怎么样还无人知晓。大约10%到20%的员工不想再回到办公室,但也有相当比例的人迫不及待想要回归线下职场,其余的人处于中间地带,两种方式都能接受。

向线上工作模式的过渡也不是一帆风顺的,有时候线上会议一开就是几个小时,很多人都受不了。而且居家办公的员工很难把工作和私人生活分开来,他们的工作时间甚至比以往还长。研究表明,疫情暴发初期,美国员工加班时长高达数百万小时。

员工还得操心自己在公司里的地位,远程办公的员工担心,留守办公室的同事比自己更容易升职加薪,有些雇主也会认为居家办公的员工没法专心工作。另外,远程招聘新员工也很难,尤其是不容易建立感情。

信任对于线上工作模式来说至关重要。

在传统的工作环境中,员工每天都会见面,大家可以一起聊聊天、吃吃午饭。但在远程模式下,员工很少有培养感情的机会,因此公司可能会遭遇信任危机。
