推特(Twitter)、脸书(Facebook)、电商平台 Shopify 和支付平台 Stripe 等已经开始让员工“随处工作”。比如,推特 CEO 杰克·多尔西(Jack Dorsey)此前宣布,未来员工可以自行选择工作的地点和方式。早在2020年,塔塔咨询服务公司 (Tata Consultancy Services)就已经让75%的员工远程工作,这家公司的员工数量可是多达50万。

2020年夏,斯坦福大学(Stanford University)一项研究表明,在美国,只有26%的员工还会回到公司上班,42%的员工已经实现居家办公。

两位作者所在的“务实思维” 是澳大利亚一家咨询公司,专门帮助其他公司培育企业文化、激励团队员工。疫情期间,在澳大利亚总理斯科特·莫里森(Scott Morrison)的一系列防疫管控措施之下,公司也面临着生死存亡的问题,好在公司迅速进行自我调整,采用混合式工作模式,让部分员工在一处工作,其他人则自己安排办公地点,还允许大家灵活选择线上办公和线下办公。

疫情让大家看到社会变化之迅猛,线上合作之势不可挡。
