Do you often complicate things so much that achieving your most important goals becomes difficult, if not impossible? Do your viewpoints and attitudes about how the world works get in the way of your success? Do seemingly impenetrable barriers inhibit your progress? Do these obstacles have a negative impact on your thinking, self-confidence and ability to keep moving? Are you going in circles? If so, Mark Joyner has some ideas on how to get out of that stultifying rut. In his new book, Joyner shows you how to break out of the prison of your mind and start seeing things more clearly. Most importantly, he explains how to get precisely what you want. Joyner's book is a bit disjointed, and perhaps its practical application is not as simple as the author proposes, though the additional materials on his free Web site help. Nevertheless, Joyner is an original and eclectic thinker, and getAbstract finds many of his concepts interesting and enlightening. Hopefully, they will enable you to move ahead more directly and get where you want to be.

In this summary, you will learn

  • How "invisible walls" may prevent you from achieving your goals
  • How to base your attitudes and beliefs on valid, sound and logical information
  • How to use a flexible mental model to get what you want out of life

This book sounds complicated and muddled from reading the PDF summary. I particularly hate the need for 'focus' analogy where he talks of a brick being just a blunt tool whereas a bayonet focusses all ones energy to a point. Thus use the bayonet to kill people not the brick where they can get back up - awful!
