Leadership is suffering from a “crisis of conformity.” Although the world faces tremendous challenges, such as climate change and income inequality, boardroom directors continue to conduct business as usual. This unwillingness to change with the times has caused public faith in leaders to plummet. For example, in December 2018, only 3% of the UK population believed that the government could resolve the Brexit crisis. Today’s leaders must exhibit humility and courage.
