Modern Western medicine has its rightful place, but it’s not a cure-all. Western medicine’s main deficiency is its failure to consider human health from a holistic viewpoint, whether it’s the food we eat or the thoughts we think. In this podcast episode of Food as Medicine, host, pharmacist and health coach Anh “Dr. Anh” Nguyen and naturopath Christina “Dr. Chris” Bjorndal discuss how eating the right foods and supplements can have a decisive impact on improving mental health. Bjorndal’s insights offer food for thought to anyone interested in mental health and nutrition.
