Summary

Before the Internet, innovation was expensive and time-consuming. You would design a business plan, seek funding and then attempt to build the innovation. But the web slashed the costs of innovation, breaking down barriers to collaboration, distribution and information sharing. In so doing, it reversed the traditional process. Today’s entrepreneurs engage in “permissionless innovation”; that is, they build their creations first and raise funding and design a business plan later. As a result, the cost of innovation is falling.

Absolutely loved this! The word innovation is repeated frequently and it's true meaning can be lost. A great example of how innovation is crucial but being in the moment is what truly matters. Be a "Now-ist"!
