The lingering threat from COVID-19 and changing worker preferences are driving employers’ adoption of hybrid and all-remote workplace models. Some major companies, such as Microsoft and Apple, are veering toward the former, while companies like Twitter and Amazon have embraced a fully remote model for their corporate employees. A top benefit of both models is increased time flexibility and work-life balance.
