Partner with AI to create learning experiences that drive business results.
AI makes many instructional design tasks more efficient. One L&D team used to spend hours transcribing and analyzing interviews with subject-matter experts — until they embraced Microsoft Teams’ AI assistant, which was able to perform these tasks in minutes. As AI takes over certain routine L&D tasks, people will take on the role of human-machine performance analyst (HMPA), using human insights and expertise to design learning strategies and experiences, while AI assists with the content creation and data analysis. One company’s AI dashboard noted that, although workers were completing compliance training, non-compliant incidents continued to occur. An HMPA conducted interviews and determined that workers didn’t find the compliance training relevant, nor did they apply it in their daily work. She adapted the content into role-specific training modules that included practice scenarios — leading to a 40% decrease in incidents.
