Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, in conversation with TED’s Chris Anderson and journalist Whitney Pennington Rodgers, answers some gritty questions about the shortcomings of the platform. Though Dorsey recognizes Twitter’s flaws, the company has paid lip service to real change until now. Alas, Dorsey skirts the topic of Twitter’s role in free and fair elections, but he shares proposed measures to weed out abusers and promote enriching, respectful conversations. Will those changes be enough to effect a turnaround? Only time will tell.
