How it works.

From submission to ceremony, three stages.

01

Selection by experts.

Our editors surface candidates from the catalogs they read continuously and craft the longlist

02

Jury review.

An independent jury of academics, executives, and editors reads the longlist. Each book gets multiple reads. Disagreement is part of the process, before the shortlist and the winner surface

03

Award ceremony.

Winners are announced on the occasion of the Frankfurt Book Fair each October. Past winners include some of the most consequential business books of the last two decades.
