4 months agoIt is not surprising that we all have bias. We all have grown up with different influence, religious background, circle of friends, communities, work environment's etc. It is encouraging though that when recognizing that they occur everyday, we can begin to get past this to a potentially great solution. The example of the orchestra was a beautiful example of removing a bias. I wonder if we can use such an example in many ways in business. As I think about work, I see examples of bias around. The most common is equality in hiring to all races but then again I may have a bias on the number of each race available?.
